Doss extended their losing streak  to four  on Monday, dropping their season record down to 3-13 in the process. They came up short against  the Whitefield Academy Wildcats, falling  15-5. The Dragons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in May of 2019.
As for Whitefield Academy, they now  have a winning record of 9-8. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by ten  runs or more this season.
For Whitefield Academy's part,  Andrew Beickman was a  major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit. Beickman has become a key player for Whitefield Academy: the team is undefeated when he allows at  most  one  hit, but 6-8 otherwise. Beickman was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances with two  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Braden Schwartz was  incredible,  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in April.  Lincoln Hall also deserves some recognition as  he  scored his first  runs of the season.
As of now, neither Doss nor Whitefield Academy have any future games scheduled.
