Greenville put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season on Friday. They took the matchup and then some with a 52-17 win over Travelers Rest. The success made it back-to-back wins for Greenville.
Greenville started the match off right with 17 first-half points. Travelers Rest countered with 10 points, leaving the score at 17-10 going into the half. Greenville's offense just added to that total in the second half en route to their big win.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Greenville will stay at home next week against Berea at 7:30 PM. Berea are limping into the game on a six-game losing streak. Travelers Rest will be staying on the road, facing off against Blue Ridge. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
