Barian Strickland Turns in Season-Best Effort
Northern Nash was led to victory by Barian Strickland, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Strickland's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 133 rushing yards dating back to last season. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 60 yards.
The victory for Northern Nash keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Strickland will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Nash Central on Friday.

Bunn was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Tyler Perry did his best to prevent it. Perry was unstoppable, rushing for 130 yards on only 13 carries.

Myles Eatmon's Big Game Leads Northern Nash over Roanoke Rapids
Myles Eatmon was instrumental in extending Northern Nash's winning streak to six on Friday. Eatmon turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 99 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries.
For the season, Eatmon has run in 10 touchdowns while averaging 136.2 rushing yards per game.

Tavoris Parker was a major factor in Rocky Mount's victory over Nash Central on Friday. Parker did his part (and then some), making 11 total tackles (1.0 for loss) for the 'W'. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 51 yards.
For the season, Parker has averaged 6.7 total tackles per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 1.17 receiving yards per game. This year he is averaging 2.33 receiving yards.

Another Game with at Least Six Total Tackles from Walter Royster
Franklinton was led to victory by Walter Royster, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Royster made 13 total tackles (2.0 for loss) and snagged an interception. The effort also marked the most rushing yards (two) he has had since back in September of 2023. He is on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last nine games he's played dating back to last season.
The win snapped Franklinton's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-5 record. Royster and Franklinton will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Northern Nash at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.
