The Paramus Spartans lost against the Ramapo Raiders back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Paramus took a serious blow against the Raiders, falling 77-33. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Paramus has scored all season.
Ramapo's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Peyton Seals led the charge by going 6 for 7 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and 4 assists. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Eglinton manner, who scored 15 points.
Paramus' defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Ramapo, they pushed their record up to 12-7 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Paramus will face off against the Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Ramapo is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Spartans in New Jersey (the Raiders are ranked 21st, while the Spartans are ranked 257th). As for Ramapo, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Highlanders at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th.
