Leading Jay to victory were Georgia Lewis and Aubreigh Nelson. Lewis scored ten points along with three steals, while Nelson scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and four blocks. Lewis continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Hattie Locklin, who scored three points along with three steals.
Jay pushed their record up to 9-0 with that victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Pace, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jay will be home for the holidays to greet Poplar Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
