Hodgdon waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They never let the Ashland Hornets get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 19-1 last Wednesday.
Michael Fitzpatrick made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Hodgdon is 6-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 1-2 otherwise. Fitzpatrick was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.
