Baseball Recap: Delta Charter Has No Trouble Against Bastrop

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Delta Charter). They were the clear victor by a 10-4 margin over the Bastrop Rams on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the Storm in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won three in a row.

Delta Charter's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Bastrop, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Delta Charter will venture away from home to square off against Caldwell Parish at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Bastrop will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Union Parish at 5:30 p.m. on March 5th.
