After flying high against Keystone  on Thursday, Columbia came back down to earth. The Raiders fell just short of the Fairview Warriors by a score of  3-2 on Saturday. The Raiders were not able to make up for their  loss to the Warriors from their previous meeting  back in September of 2024.

 Naziya Reid paced Columbia's offense, picking up 15 kills. Reid got some help from  Mariah Gonzalez and her 24 assists.  Lexi Miller controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Columbia's defeat  ended  a  three-match streak of away wins  and  brought them to 10-10. As for Fairview, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record  this season.
 Columbia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  3-0  win against Oberlin on the 7th. As for Fairview, they have also already played their next match,  a  3-0  victory against Cuyahoga Heights on the 7th.
