After losing to the West Harrison Hurricanes the last time they met, the Moss Point Tigers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Moss Point managed a 30-24 victory over West Harrison on Friday.
Jordyn Ford was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 15 points along with five rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Moss Point's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Landyn Johnson, who scored eight points.
The win got Moss Point back to even at 7-7. As for West Harrison, they bumped their record down to 4-8 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.
Moss Point will face off against Greene County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Greene County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 on Saturday. West Harrison will be home for the holidays to greet George County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. George County is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
