Madonna had a rough outing against Wheeling Central Catholic last week, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Madonna strolled past Vincentian Academy with points to spare on Saturday, taking the contest 25-14. The success represented a nice turnaround for Madonna, who in their last game suffered a tough 0-55 defeat.
The victory bumped Madonna's record up to 2-1. The loss started Vincentian Academy out at 0-1 for the season.
Madonna will stay at home next week against Beallsville at 7:00 PM. As for Vincentian Academy, they will face off against Iroquois.
