 In other pitching news,  Ty Cook looked comfortable as he  pitched three innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   one  hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 Back at the plate,  Dylan Giffen was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Gunner Bleha, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Ryle came tearing into  Wednesday's  matchup with five straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.4 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They skirted past the Pioneers  5-3.
 Ryle let  Aj Curry and  Josh Caudill loose on the outfield. Curry  scored a  run while going 2-for-4, while  Caudill  went 1-for-3 with a  home run.
 Scott's victory bumped their record up to 15-13. As for Ryle, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 14 of their last 15 matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record  this season.
