After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cincinnati Country Day, The Lockland Panthers were happy to have found some success on Friday. They managed a 27-22 win over Clark Montessori. For Lockland, this counts as revenge for the 56-7 loss Clark Montessori walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2022.
Damien Dawson was a one-man wrecking crew for Lockland as he rushed for 285 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.2 yards per carry, and also threw for 172 yards and three touchdowns. Mouhamed Tall also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Lockland is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season. As for Clark Montessori, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Lockland will head out on the road to face off against Ansonia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ansonia will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Clark Montessori does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
