Leflore County was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Riverside apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played on January 5th.
Riverside got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aaron Stewart out in front who scored 18 points along with six rebounds. Stewart is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last seven games he's played. Otis Williams was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Leflore County's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-13. As for Riverside, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.
Leflore County will head out on the road to square off against O'Bannon at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. O'Bannon is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. Riverside will take on North Side at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Side will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
