The Coral Gables Cavaliers''s game last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They secured a 24-20 W over Southwest. That's another feather in the cap for Coral Gables, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Antwan Delancy and Deandre Pique certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Delancy picked up 164 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Pique threw for 189 yards and two touchdowns. Delancy was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 66 yards.
Coral Gables' victory bumped their record up to 5-5. As for Southwest, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Coral Gables does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Southwest also has no future games currently scheduled.
