The Louisa County Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 74-22 loss at the hands of Western Albemarle. Louisa County was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-8.
Louisa County's loss came despite strong showings from Taylor Yeatts and Amara Comfort. Yeatts scored seven points, while Comfort scored six points.
Louisa County's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Western Albemarle, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.
Louisa County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Western Albemarle also has no future games currently scheduled.
