The Lincoln Lions put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 82-37 victory over St. Raphael Academy at home. Lincoln has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Camden Dichiara continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 33 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Joshua Bergeron was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Lincoln's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.8 points per game. As for St. Raphael Academy, their loss ended a eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 15-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln will challenge the Rebels at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. South Kingstown has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for St. Raphael Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge the Chargers at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Chariho will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Rhode Island Rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Saints are ranked fifth).
