The Thomas Nelson Generals's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 77-42 loss at the hands of Beth Haven. While losing is never fun, Thomas Nelson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 254th, while Beth Haven is ranked 106th).
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Beth Haven to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordan Harris, who scored 19 points. The matchup was Harris' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of DaMontez Malone, who scored 17 points.
Thomas Nelson's loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-6. As for Beth Haven, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Christian Educational Consortium the next time they take the court. Thomas Nelson will head out to face Christian Educational Consortium at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Beth Haven will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
