It was a good run, but the Tapestry Charter Titans unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 41-40 to Howard. Tapestry Charter was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Howard apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Despite the loss, Tapestry Charter still got an impressive performance from Kingston Willingham, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Makhi Miller, who scored nine points.
It was another big night for Sam Schulman, who scored 23 points for Howard. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Schulman has scored all season. Michael Davis was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Tapestry Charter's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Howard, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
Tapestry Charter will head out on the road to take on Varsity Opponent at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Howard, they will square off against Cumberland Academy of Georgia at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cumberland Academy of Georgia is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
