On Friday, Don Bosco are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Baxter at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Don Bosco took care of business in their home opener. They were fully in charge last Friday, breezing past Gladbrook-Reinbeck 50-6.
Meanwhile, Baxter had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were completely outmatched, falling 28-89 to Coon Rapids-Bayard.
Don Bosco's win lifted them to 1-0 while Baxter's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Don Bosco can add another positive mark to their record or if Baxter can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Don Bosco's step.
