Corning came into Thursday's   game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They enjoyed a cozy  52-36 victory over the Quincy Trojans on Thursday.

 Corning was led to victory by  Brody Martinovich and  Kaidan Raker.  Martinovich  posted 14 points and five  rebounds, while  Raker  went 5 of 10  on his way to 14  points and six  assists. That's the most  assists  Raker has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alan De Lara, who  put up eight points and five  rebounds.
Corning's win  ended  a  five-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 6-8. As for Quincy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.
 Corning wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  47-38  defeat against Redding Christian on the 10th. As for Quincy, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  53-41  loss against Hamilton on the 10th.
