Logansport was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .640. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.
Lafayette Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Logansport, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.
Thursday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Lafayette Jefferson has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .483. However, it's not like Logansport struggles in that department as they've averaged .521. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
