There's no place like home for Gig Harbor, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the North Thurston Rams out  5-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Gig Harbor also won the last time the pair played  two weeks ago.
  Cole Flowers looked comfortable as he  tossed 3.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits.
 On the hitting side,  Cooper McCutcheon was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Jayce Corley, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases.
 Gig Harbor is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record  this season. As for North Thurston, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 11-9-1.
 As of now, neither Gig Harbor nor North Thurston have any future games scheduled.
