Baseball Recap: Muskogee Triumphs

Muskogee won the last time they faced Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool and things went their way on Saturday too. The Muskogee Roughers walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool Jaguars. While the Roughers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-27-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Chris Daniels was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Four bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Daniels is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Doc Estes, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.

Muskogee always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .526. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .526 or higher in three consecutive matchups.

Muskogee's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Muskogee wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-3 loss against Pryor on the 8th. As for Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool, they have also already played their next match, a 5-4 victory against Glenpool on the 13th.
