AAA Region I recap November 19, 2013
Belton-Honea Path was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after defeating Broome. The Bears came in at 22 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.
Daniel extended the longest winning streak in AAA Region I this week by beating Clinton, 31-7. The victory was the 12th in a row for the team.
Wren's Kelly Bryant and Harrison Hix have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-4 quarterback Bryant has thrown for 2,366 yards this season, while Hix has 36 catches for 742 yards. Anthony White from Belton-Honea Path leads the league in rushing with 1,232 yards.
In 159 carries Marquis Arnold has put up 952 yards this year.
The Bears took down the Centurions 42-12 last week, the largest margin of any game.
