The Jefferson-Morgan Rockets were the 52-40 winner over the West Greene Pioneers when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Jefferson-Morgan fell to West Greene 45-39.
Despite the loss, Jefferson-Morgan still got an impressive performance from Max Ivanusic, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Jefferson-Morgan's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for West Greene, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.
Jefferson-Morgan will head out on the road to square off against Geibel Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Geibel Catholic comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for West Greene, they will be playing at home against Mapletown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mapletown has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
