After a string of six wins, Kirby's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 62-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Munford.

JaDyn Lee continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Munford, dropping a double-double with 26 points and 12 rebounds. Lee has been hot, having posted nine or more boards the last five times he's played. Elisha Patrick was another key player, going 5-for-8 en route to 16 points and six rebounds.

Kirby's defeat dropped their record down to 21-10. As for Munford, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 20-10 record this season.

Kirby has already played their next match, a 75-60 loss against Fayette Ware on the 10th. As for Munford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 65-63 victory against Dyersburg on the 10th.
