The biggest upset of the week belonged to Putnam Vo-Tech, who took down 90th ranked Putnam Vo-Tech, 41-16.
South Hadley extended the longest winning streak in Suburban this week by beating Amherst-Pelham Regional, 49-7. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
The Beavers' Kajuan Bynum and Rishawn Harris have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Bynum has thrown for 995 yards this season, while Harris, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 20 catches for 376 yards. South Hadley's Bryan Shippee leads the league in rushing yards with 530.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Hurricanes take on Putnam Vo-Tech. Amherst-Pelham Regional is in fourth place, while Bill Watson's team is in second place.
Chicopee moved up to 143 from 176 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Suburban. The Pacers were able to make move up by topping the Beavers 41-16.
