After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against KIPP Sunnyside, KIPP Houston was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. They took down Varsity Opponent 54-40. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  48-39  back in November of 2024.

Nathan Mbah was another key player,  going 5 for 9  on his way to 13  points and eight  rebounds.
KIPP Houston's win bumped their record up to 5-3.
