Palm Glades Prep Academy will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Pinecrest Prep at 3:30 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Palm Glades Prep Academy had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-30 punch to the gut against Westminster Christian last Friday.
Pinecrest Prep also just played their first game, also were on the road, and also didn't get the result they wanted. They suffered a grim 0-28 defeat to St. Brendan last week.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better score. Hopefully the teams can find a way to make up for their last outings by putting some points on the board this time.
