The Aloha Warriors will challenge the Gresham Gophers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Aloha is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.9 runs per game this season.

Aloha is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Nelson just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Monday. They came up short against Nelson, falling 15-5.

Avery Dimeo and Brooklyn Sweatman did some serious damage despite the final result: Dimeo scored two runs while going 3-for-3, while Sweatman scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Meanwhile, Gresham waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Vikings. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Gophers have posted since April 24, 2024.

Maddy Sagapolutele was incredible, firing off two home runs while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Suntaya Riddle was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.

Gresham pushed their record up to 7-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Aloha, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.

Wednesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Aloha hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .351. However, it's not like Gresham struggles in that department as they've averaged .406. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
