On Friday Davenport North take on Davenport Central at 7:30 PM. Davenport North is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
Davenport North were able to grind out a solid victory over Dubuque Senior last Friday, winning 20-7.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-54, which was the final score in Davenport Central's tilt against North Scott.
Davenport North's win lifted them to 2-0 while Davenport Central's defeat dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Davenport North can add another positive mark to their record or if Davenport Central can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Davenport North's step.
