It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Franklin County Rebels can now relate to. They took a serious blow against Page on Friday, falling 50-14. Franklin County has struggled against Page recently, as their match on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Although Franklin County took the loss, they still got scores from Ethan Farris and Willie Cobb.
Leading Page to victory were Presley Cozart and Colin Mulick. Cozart rushed for 57 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, while Mulick rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown. Mulick really tore up the turf during one magnificent 78-yard run.
Franklin County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Page, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.
Franklin County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Page will look to defend their home field on Friday against Tullahoma at 7:00 p.m. Tullahoma will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while Page is ranked 17th).
