The Bronaugh Wildcats can finally bid farewell to their 12-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They breezed by Miami at home to the tune of 50-23. The win was just what Bronaugh needed coming off of a 60-32 defeat in their prior game.
Bronaugh found their leader in underclassman Jada Brundridge, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds. Brundridge hasn't dropped below three steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Gretchen Banes, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 rebounds.
Bronaugh's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-18. As for Miami, their loss was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-8.
Bronaugh will take on Northeast Vernon County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Miami, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kingsville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Miami is facing Kingsville at the right time seeing as Kingsville is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
