Houma Christian won the last time they faced A.J. Ellender and things went their way on Thursday too. The Warriors blew past the Patriots 14-4. Considering the Warriors have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Houma Christian and bumps their season record up to 17-10. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.0 runs over those games. As for A.J. Ellender, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-21 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Houma Christian will challenge South Lafourche at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for A.J. Ellender, they will take on St. James at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight.
