Hollidaysburg put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They really took it to the Taylor Allderdice Dragons for the full four quarters, racking up a 69-8 victory. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-8.
Carter Muth was his usual excellent self, rushing for 143 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Isaac Vent was in the mix as well, providing Hollidaysburg with one TD.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Hollidaysburg was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 264 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 175 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
Hollidaysburg didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Josh Banks, Anthony Destefano, and Tyler Rodgers picked up one apiece. Hollidaysburg received some extra help from Bravin Matthews, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
