Portland had to endure a 12-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on Cheney RVT with a sharp 42-17 victory on Thursday. Portland's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Meanwhile, East Hampton put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 66-15 victory over Hale Ray on the road. East Hampton has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 23 points or more this season.
Portland's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-9. As for East Hampton, their win was their 15th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-0.
