Meanwhile, East Hampton put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 66-15 victory over Hale Ray on the road. East Hampton has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 23 points or more this season.
Portland's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-9. As for East Hampton, their win was their 15th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-0.
