Sussex County Tech is 0-6 against the Redhawks since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. Sussex County Tech's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Parsippany Redhawks at 7:00 p.m. on February 5th. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though North Warren Regional scored an imposing 56 points on Friday, Sussex County Tech still came out on top. Sussex County Tech walked away with a 63-56 win over the Patriots.
Meanwhile, Parsippany scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They strolled past Morris County Tech with points to spare, taking the game 72-54. The victory was just what Parsippany needed coming off of a 60-40 defeat in their prior matchup.
Parsippany's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from David Niedermaier, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Niedermaier is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Cordasco, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten assists.
Sussex County Tech's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Parsippany, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9.
Sussex County Tech lost to the Redhawks on the road by a decisive 60-44 margin in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Can Sussex County Tech avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
