Central Georgia Arts were the 52-29 winner over the Windsor Academy Knights when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Central Georgia Arts took a 52-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Windsor Academy on Tuesday. Central Georgia Arts has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Windsor Academy was led to victory by Audrey Dobson and Kyndall Bowen. Dobson dropped a double-double on 19 points and 18 rebounds, while Bowen scored 28 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for her.
Central Georgia Arts has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Windsor Academy, their win ended a 16-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Georgia Arts will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Windsor Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Windsor Academy and Trinity Christian School of Griffin will face off at 6:00 p.m. on December 21st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Trinity Christian School of Griffin is ranked 487th, while Windsor Academy is ranked 500th).
