While Pahrump Valley didn't have the best season last year (they finished 15-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on the Mojave Rattlers with a sharp 12-2 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won four contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Pahrump Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .559. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mojave only posted an OBP of .190.
The win made it two in a row for Pahrump Valley and bumps their season record up to 5-0-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Mojave, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Pahrump Valley has already played their next match, an 8-2 victory against Canyon Springs on the 5th. As for Mojave, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-0 loss against Sports Leadership & Management on the 5th.
