Volleyball Recap: Copley Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

If Roosevelt wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Copley, they should've done a better job of containing Jayli Owens. The Indians blew past the Rough Riders 3-0 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Owens, who had 19 digs and seven assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Copley walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21, 25-11.

The victory made it two in a row for Copley and bumps their season record up to 12-6. As for Roosevelt, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.

Coming up, Copley will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Medina at 6:30 p.m. As for Roosevelt, they are taking a road trip to face off against Highland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
