This season hasn't been kind to the Craigmont Chiefs, who are still winless after their fourth game. They suffered a rough 98-77 loss at the hands of Hillcrest on Wednesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Monday (68), Craigmont still had to take the loss.
Jordan Allen was his usual excellent self, scoring 42 points for Hillcrest. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Allen has scored at least 25% of Hillcrest's points. Xavier Herron was another key contributor, scoring 27 points.
Craigmont's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hillcrest, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Craigmont will take on Overton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hillcrest, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Sheffield at 7:30 p.m.
