Everything went their way against the Richland Northeast Cavaliers on Thursday as York made off with an 18-1 victory. Layla Clayton was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
