If Moody was feeling good fresh off their 15-2 takedown of Bruceville-Eddy last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bearcats fell just short of the Valley Mills Eagles by a score of 8-7 on Tuesday. The Bearcats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Moody's loss dropped their record down to 12-8-1. As for Valley Mills, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Coincidentally, Moody and Valley Mills will both be playing Jonesboro the next time they take the field. The Eagles will host the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bearcats will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
