Eminence has been on the road for three straight, but on Saturday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Dugger Union Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Last Tuesday, Eminence took a serious blow against University, falling 78-21. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Eminence has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Dugger Union's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They took a 53-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Martinsville.
Eminence's defeat was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Dugger Union, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.
Eminence skirted past Dugger Union 37-34 in their previous meeting back in December of 2017. Will Eminence repeat their success, or does Dugger Union have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
