East Bernard is 10-0 against Danbury since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The East Bernard Brahmas will be playing at home against the Danbury Panthers at 6:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, East Bernard was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 41-37 to Van Vleck.
Meanwhile, Danbury's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 104-18 loss at the hands of Hitchcock. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Danbury has scored all season.
The losing side was boosted by Mason Mitchell, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds. That was a full 66.7% of Danbury's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
East Bernard's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-9. As for Danbury, their loss was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-24.
East Bernard was able to grind out a solid win over Danbury in their previous meeting back in January, winning 59-46. Will East Bernard repeat their success, or does Danbury have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
