Sioux Valley will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Beresford in at 7:00 PM. Neither Sioux Valley nor Beresford could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one.
Sioux Valley had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 6-35 walloping at Canton hands. Sioux Valley were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-20.
Meanwhile,, Beresford couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 6-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bridgewater/Emery/Ethan.
