After a string of three wins, Fowler's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 4-1 to the Brush Beetdiggers. The match marked the Grizzlies' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Fowler saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Weston Johnson, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Johnson also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Fowler's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Brush, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Fowler wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 7-6 victory against Swink on the 2nd. As for Brush, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-8 win against Highland on the 31st.
