Monroe's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Chavez Eagles 72-35. The Vikings' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Jorge Hernandez went supernova for Monroe, putting up 25 points. Jeremiah O'Garro was another key player, earning 14 points.

Monroe's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-9. As for Chavez, their defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-8.
