Osborn put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 7-4 win over the Hamtramck Cosmos.
J Williams made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits (and not a single walk). Williams was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, W Alverez was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was J Maybin, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Osborn's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Hamtramck, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
