East Surry got themselves on the board against North Wilkes on Tuesday, but North Wilkes never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Vikings. The victory was nothing new for the Cardinals as they're now sitting on six straight.

East Surry pushed their record up to 8-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for North Wilkes, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.

Looking ahead, East Surry will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Starmount at 6:00 p.m. As for North Wilkes, they will venture away from home to take on West Caldwell at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Vikings are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
